  I am an iCASE PhD student at the University of Nottingham as part of their progressive Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Doctoral Training Programme. Since then, I have worked for the BioComposites Centre, also in Bangor, on an environmentally-friendly project where I optimised and executed a scale up synthesis of a potential herbicide. Diligent individual with a passion for organic chemistry, an interest in pharmaceuticals and a goal to be involved in pushing the boundaries of drug discovery.
